Werewolf People

If the world
were werewolf people
it would be a hairier world
than you know.
Yes, we
would have cities,
but they would be made
of sturdier stuff
than yours.
Windows
would be barred
and our locks would
be more secure.
Yes, we
would have laws,
and those who defied them
would be prosecuted.
Though there
would
always be exceptions
to the rule.
When the
moon turned full
and our transformations
were complete,
the laws would change.
There would
be no law
beyond the hairy moment.
