Before the Trumpets Sound
By Gary West
Seqor Velasquez and his merry
band
of sock puppets broke into Joe's Deli
& Auto Repair shop last night
singing in 12-part harmony
about how the world was coming
to an end and that if we really wanted
to enjoy Armageddon's rip roaring spectacle we'd better stock up on ham
& rye mustard and grease monkeys because Hell is a mechanical nightmare
and Heaven doesn't sell sandwiches.
